The First 1953 Corvette Rolled off the Line Today... 55 Years Ago


On June 30, 1953, the first Corvette came off the line in Flint, Michigan. Only 300 Corvettes were built that year and were all, for the most part, hand-built. All 300 were polo white with red interiors.
